   Ubrania z militarnym i marynistycznym akcentem mają być hitem tej jesieni. Nowy sezon stawia na detal, zdobienia, aplikacje, naszywki, hafty, mosiężne guziki i pagony, ozdobne żaboty czy kołnierze. Projektanci udowadniają, że trend militarny jest ekstrawagancki i przyciągający. Płaszcze, marynarki i żakiety przypominające napoleońskie mundury zaproponowali na jesień/zimę 2016-2017 miedzy innymi Roberto Cavalli, Mulberry, Temperley London, Ralph Lauren, Vivienne Westwood, Dolce&Gabbana, Burberry, Givenchy i Tommy Hilfiger. Jeśli chodzi o markę Tommy Hilfiger to na początku września ukazała się wyczekiwana przez wszystkich kolekcja Tommy x Gigi stworzona przy współpracy z modelką Gigi Hadid. Kolekcji tej towarzyszy motyw marynarski, biele i granaty, nowoczesny szyk i amerykańska klasyka, znajdziemy w niej kurtki bombery, długie swetry, transparentne sukienki z motywem morskim oraz piękne marynarskie płaszcze. 

Płaszcz  w stylu marynarskim lub militarnym to istny crème de la crème w jesiennej garderobie, dlatego nie mogłam pozwolić żeby zabrakło go w mojej szafie. Kupiłam materiał i zasiadłam przed maszyną... po kilku dniach mój autorski projekt jest gotowy:)  

   Army and maritime style outfits are a great trend this fall. The new season focuses on details, embellishments, embroidery, bottoms, epaulets, collar or jabot. Jackets, coats and blazers are purely inspired by soldiers and sailors.
Top designers prove that military style is desired, extraordinary and glamorous. FALL/WINTER 2016/17 collections of Roberto Cavalli, Mulberry, Temperley London, Ralph Lauren, Vivienne Westwood, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Givenchy and Tommy Hilfiger presents outstanding army-inspired outfits that everyone would love to wear. Taking about Tommy Hilfiger at the beginning of September we could see an anticipated final effect of collaboration of the brand with the supermodel Gigi Hadid who co-created the collection Tommy x Gigi.  A nautical and all - American, fresh and classy outfits, transparent a - line dresses with ribbon, military-inspired coats and jackets, mainly white and navy pieces.

Military style jacket is a crème de la crème of this fall, so I had no other choice but to sew one for myself. I bought some navy fabric and sat down in front of my sewing machine... after few days my jacket is ready to wear:)

  Po krótkiej przerwie znowu przyszła pora na sukienkę, tym razem uszyłam ją dla siostry. Jest to sukienka o podobnym fasonie do tej którą możecie zobaczyć tutaj, choć różni się trochę od swojej poprzedniczki. Została wzbogacona akcentem z koronki i jest w innym kolorze. Jest to chyba mój pierwszy projekt w kolorze nude. Kolor nude już od jakiegoś czasu podbija serca kobiet na całym świecie, sukienki, a tak właściwie całe stylizacje w kolorze nude pojawiają się bardzo często w kolekcjach najlepszych projektantów. Mogliśmy je zobaczyć choćby tego lata u Balmain, Celine, Calvina Kleina, Chanel czy Roberto Cavalli. Jak już wiemy będą nam również towarzyszyć tej jesieni.

   Stylizacja nude to strzał w dziesiątkę zarówno na co dzień, jak i na wielkie wyjście. Sama się sobie dziwię dlaczego dopiero teraz sięgnęłam po ten kolor. Odcienie beżu już wcześniej gościł w moje szafie, choćby na butach, ale dopiero teraz miałam okazję uszyć coś w tym kolorze. 


     After a short break I sewed again a dress for my sister. It is similar to the one you can see here, but this time I attached some lace and choose different colour. It is my first nude project. Nude is a massive trend since few seasons, it looks chic, feminine and quite luxurious, everyone loves it. Most top designers offered nude clothes in their spring/summer 2016 collection. We could see nude in Roberto Cavalli, Calvin Klein, Celine, Balmain and Chanel. As we now know the shades of nude are not going to leave us this fall. Nude look is a definition of understanding trends, elegance and classy minimalism with tones of glamour.

  Dziś kolejna dawka recyklingu, czyli jak stara rzecz zyskała zupełnie nowe życie.    
  Uwielbiam przeszukiwać secondhandy, strych i inne zakamarki w poszukiwaniu ubrań, które mogę przerobić. Tym razem w moje ręce trafiła spódnica maxi. Początkowo miałam ją przerobić na sukienkę, ale musiałam postawić na bluzkę, gdyż zabrakło mi kilku centymetrów tkaniny. Ostatecznie cieszę się, że uszyłam bluzkę, gdyż fajnie prezentuje się z rurkami i moimi ukochanymi spódniczkami mini. Jest to bluzka z falbanką, luźna, na gumkę. Jak Wam się podoba?

   Today some more recycling:)... of course I mean my new blouse.. At the beginning I was supposed to sew a dress, but unfortunately I had not enough fabric. I made the blouse out of an old maxi skirt that I found in my mother's attic. Anyway it is still ok to have a new blouse. It is a peplum style, quite loose, it looks gorgeous with skinny jeans and my favourite miniskirts. What do you think about it?

   Ostatnio zostałam zaproszona do wzięcia udziału w projekcie "Feel Sexy on Your Next Date Night" organizowanym przez nowojorską markę Adore me zajmującą się projektowaniem bielizny. Główną projektantką tej marki jest Helen Mears, która jeszcze niedawno tworzyła kolekcje dla Victoria's Secret. Projekt w którym wzięłam udział polegał na przedstawieniu mojej wizji idealnej bielizny na jesienną randkę. 
    Jak dla mnie idealna bielizna to przede wszystkim wysokiej jakości materiał, przyjemny w dotyku i oczywiście dobrze dobrany fason. Bielizna koronkowa, haftowana i delikatna, w pastelowych kolorach to moim zdaniem strzał w dziesiątkę.  Klasyczna czerń również będzie trafiona, jeżeli stawiamy na delikatny, kobiecy fason, nieprzesadnie wyzywający. Może to być subtelny koronkowy zestaw lub romantyczna halka.   Starałam się, aby właśnie taki był mój najnowszy projekt. Czarna halka z akcentami z koronki, delikatna i gustowna, pobudzająca zmysły:) To jest moja wizja,którą chętnie włożyłabym na randkę. Z racji, że obecnie są bardzo modne bieliźniane sukienki myślę, że moja halka również sprawdziła by się w wersji saute jako slip dress.

   Perfect outfit for a fall date night? Something that would totally knock his socks off? For me it is something romantic and delicate. Pastels, whites or blacks, minimal colour palette attract attention more than flashy and motley stuff. I would stick to comfortable yet stylish clothes, of course in good quality. Depending on the place of the date it could be a simple tee with skinny jeans and shoes I feel comfy or a no - fail outfit: sophisticated curve hugging little black dress with high heels. While thinking of the outwear we should remember about the stuff we put underneath. We should choose things giving us confidence that we look good under our clothes. A matching set, something that flatters our curves and makes us feel like a million bucks:)or a sensual nightie showing that we are feminine and chic. Mostly I choose simple, romantic lacy  or embroidered lingerie in pastels, however there is also a place in my heart (and closet) for some sophisticated blacks, if they are feminine and delicate.
    Especially for this post and the project made for the woman's intimates company Adore me I sewed a simple but sensual nightie with lace. Nowadays lingerie is not something we try to hide, we want to show it of, so it has to be stylish and chic. I think that the nightie I made can be treated as a slip dress which are recently a great trend and I could possibly wear it also as the outwear on my fall date. 
   With the expose lingerie trend, nice underwear is our must have. We can match corsets and bras with a sheer tops or shirts and skinny jeans. Show me a guy who wouldn't be into that:)Sheer clothes are a recent obsession of celebrities and fashionistas. Showing lingerie is not considered a faux pas but a new standard. However finding a bra or bralette fitting your sheer clothes is not so easy.    Jaki jest Wasz patent na resztki materiałów? Co z nich robicie? Widziałam, że wiele z Was robi wyprzedaże, inne bawią się w patchoworki i tworzą cuda z niczego. Ja staram się zbierać większe resztki tkanin z nadzieją, że kiedyś do czegoś się przydadzą, a jakieś mniejsze skrawki porostu wyrzucam. Tym razem pokaże Wam sukienkę, która powstała z kawałków materiałów, które mi zostały po dwóch różnych sukienkach oraz z 3 różnych koronek. 

    What do you do with the pieces of fabric that are left after your sewing? Do you throw them sell or keep? I personally try to keep the bigger pieces with the hope of using it somehow one day, while the smaller pieces of fabrics I simply throw. This time I want to show you a dress I sewed out of the leftovers:) To sew the dress I used two different fabrics and three various types of lace.

Zapomniałabym się pochwalić... wianuszek zrobiłam z kwiatków ze swojego ogródka:)
