 Biała sukienka, rozkloszowana, luźna, lekka i zwiewna, jak powiem letniego wiatru:)Kojarzy mi się z wiosną. Wybrałam białą tkaninę, gdyż biel jest odzwierciedleniem niewinności i młodości. Czegoś ulotnego, a jakże wspaniałego. Czy robię się trochę sentymentalna? Być może... dlaczego? Bo dziś są moje urodziny:)
   Sukienka powstała spontanicznie, po prostu pomyślałam sobie, że fajnie byłoby zrobić sobie jakiś urodzinowy prezent:) I tak narodziła się moja romantyczna urodzinowa kreacja. 
  Ale czy jest ona rzeczywiście tylko romantyczna? I nie pasuje do żadnej innej stylizacji? Otóż coś pozornie delikatnego, może nabrać zupełnie innego charakteru za pomocą odpowiednich dodatków. Tak więc, jedna sukienka, a dwa nieco odmienne oblicza.

  A white, light, flared and ethereal dress, like the breath of spring:) I chosed white fabric because it is associated with youth and innocence. Things that are so elusive. Am I not too sentimental? Maybe. Do you know why? Because it is my birthday today!
The dress was sewed spontanously. I thought that it could be a good idea to sew myself a present:)
  Therefore, below you can see my white, romantic dress. But is it really so romantic? And does not fit other styles? Well, some things that apparently seem to belong to one style my be perecived completely different with the use of proper accessories. So below, one dress, but two different looks.

   Biała rozkloszowana sukienka w wersji mini to moja wersja sukienki Marilyn Monroe, w której wystąpiłam w "Słomianym Wdowcu".

   Rozkloszowane sukienki zostały wylansowane przez Diora wiosną 1955 roku. Miały być one kobiece, podkreślające talię, wyrafinowane i eleganckie. Moda tamtych lat miała kontrastować z biedą i restrykcją lat 40. Media ówczesnych czasów promowały wizerunek kobiety idealnej, zadbanej z nienaganną fryzurą i makijażem.

   In 1955 Christian Dior set the new trend of A-Line dress. His aim was to create elegant, stunning and hip-skimming outfits. Fashion of that days had to contrast with the povery and restriction of the post-war period. People were tired of the austerity and violence connected with war and desired to have a piece of luxury. Media tried to promote an image of a perfect woman with irreprochable look, perfect hairstyle and makeup.
